Tschak: Slot Together Chair Design

Tschak is a chair designed completely out of one sheet of 4'x4' 1/2 inch plywood. There are no fasteners, nails or glue holding it together. I built this project for my product design class at Art Institute. As I know absolutely nothing about word working, Will Lolcolma assisted me in the building of this chair. I made a few mock ups from foam core, and crafted most of my original design in Adobe Illustrator. We built the chair at Studio Concepts in Portland, OR.

The name Tschak comes from the Kraftwerk song "Boing Boom Tschak", which always sounded to me like something being assembled.

Seriously, this chair is great. You should look into selling the design to someone. I know that's not your bag, but you really should.
